The service

Story offers public-domain works as audio, plus adaptations, summaries, transcripts and study guides we produce, in the app and on the web.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to your account safe: you're responsible for what happens in it.

If you are under 18, use Story with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Plans and payments

Prices are listed on our website. In Mexico they include VAT; in the US, sales tax is added where it applies. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Monthly and annual card Passes renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel in two taps from Account → Manage payments and keep listening until the end of the paid period.

Cash Passes (OXXO) and the Founders Pass are one-time payments: they never renew and start once the payment is confirmed.

OXXO payments can't be refunded through Stripe; when a refund applies, we give it as account credit. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer protection law.

Digital-voice narration

Many titles are narrated with AI-generated voices, and we label each one “Narrated with a digital voice”. A person reviews every production, but mistakes can slip through; if you find one, tell us.

Content and use

The original works are in the public domain. Our productions (narrations, adaptations, summaries, guides, covers and design) are protected and are for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, extract or redistribute the audio, or work around the service's protections. Downloads play offline while your access is active.

Changes

The catalog may change. If we change your plan's price, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel before it applies. If we change these terms, we post the new version here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico.
